After an incredibly challenging 2021, I’m hoping 2022, once we’ve tackled the Omicron variant, will bring back the green shoots of optimism we were slowly beginning to see.
It is an honour to represent you in Parliament and, as we welcome in 2022, I’m looking to my positive priorities for the year and what I hope to achieve.
This year, I’m learning British Sign Language, and I hope to raise awareness for greater equality for deaf and hard of hearing people.
I’m also continuing my campaigns to improve the lives of local people, including seeking to introduce legislation to ensure e-scooters are driven safely, raising the standard for bereavement services during the tragic loss of a baby, rebuilding our economy post-COVID and bringing people back into central London, and finally getting my Pedicab legislation through Parliament.
2022 will be another year like no other and I hope to meet you on my travels around the Two Cities. If you spot me, please do come and say hello!
