Support with the cost of living

Get help with the cost of living

^ Nickie joined forces with Westminster Citizens Advice Bureau for a joint surgery to bring information, support and advice closer to local people

So many people from across the Cities of London and Westminster have been in touch with Nickie, sharing their real concerns for what the future holds and what the rising cost of living means for them, their family, their household and, for many, their business.

Russia’s illegal and unjustified invasion of Ukraine has fuelled inflation and the cost of energy around the world. No one and no country is immune.

Nickie is working hard in Parliament to ensure your voice is heard and that Ministers direct Government support at those most in need. She has welcomed the wide range of support already unveiled including schemes to give every household £400 in the Energy Bills Support Scheme, the Pensioner Cost of Living Payment of up to £300 and the Cost of Living Payment of £650 for eligible people on certain means-tested benefits. But with Autumn and Winter ahead, Nickie knows more financial help is needed as well as practical help and support.

No one should feel they are alone. Help is available. The Government, organisations and businesses have a range of schemes and support available for you.

Nickie has put together this Cost of Living Help Hub which includes the pages on the left-hand side (or further down if looking at this page on your mobile) to find out how you can access the advice, help and support available for you.

Do not hesitate to get in touch with Nickie if you need any further advice.
