^ Nickie Aiken leads a Westminster Hall debate on the recovery of central London businesses.
Nickie has been working tirelessly to ensure the Two Cities is not left behind in the UK's pandemic recovery, and has met with Ministers including the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak MP to voice her concerns.
Nickie has highlighted the specific problems that small, medium and large businesses are facing. Business rates; staff shortages within the hospitality sector; the need to give workers the confidence to use public transport again to return to work in central London; and the ongoing issue of the lack of international travellers, which is a major issues for the travel, tourism and leisure sectors.
