Nickie's update on her Pedicabs (London) Bill

Saturday, 20 November, 2021

MP for the Two Cities, Nickie Aiken, shared an update to her Pedicabs (London) Bill following the debate in Parliament.

Speaking after the debate, Nickie said,

"So I've just come out of the Chamber of the House of Commons, where sadly my Pedicabs (London) Bill fell again because it was talked out.

"But I fight another day and I will be tabling it again on the 3rd December, and I have agreed to go and speak to any member of the Commons who has got any concerns about it, talk to them about it in the next week or so, and so I can reassure them about why it is so important that we get this Bill through.

"The government has again confirmed that they are supporting it, so that's good news.

"But we've got to get this Bill through, if I can. So if you want to continue to support me and you haven't done already, please sign my online petition and together we will do all we can to make pedicabs regulated."
